Ralph Figueroa, was born in Los Angeles and was raised in La Puente, CA by two very hard working parents. This half-Mexican, half-Salvadoran, U.S. Army veteran joined the military at the age of 17 and proudly served his country for 12 years! During his stint in the military, he also found time to attend college at Cal State Long Beach, UCLA and Cal Poly Pomona, eventually becoming a 2nd grade teacher.
Ralph picked up the microphone for the first time in January of 2010 and has since been one of the hardest working comics in the SoCal comedy circuit. He’s worked at various venues throughout Southern and Northern California...from San Diego to Sacramento and everywhere in between. Ralph has been featured at The Ha Ha Cafe, Sacramento Punchline, The Ice House, The Laugh Factory and the Brea, Ontario, Irvine, San Jose and Hollywood Improv’s opening for some of the biggest names in comedy today. He also lends his talents to help raise money for many charitable foundations such as "Toys for Tots", the "American Cancer Society", "The Silver & Black Angel Foundation" and the "Vet Hunters Project" who's goal is to get homeless veterans off the street.
Aware of Ralphs consistent hard work ethic and aware of his great comedy ability Ralph was asked to host the BSide Sports Show on the BSide Channel. An opportunity Ralph was glad to accept and has since developed into the funniest up and coming Sports Show around.

INSPIRED BY DISCUSSIONS THROUGH OUT THE YEARS WITH SEVERAL FREINDS, BSIDE SPORTS WAS FINALLY DEVELOPED BY LONG TIME BSIDE SHOW PRODUCER DRAKK. AN ORIGINAL ATTEMPT FOR THE SHOW WAS DEVELOPED IN MID 2013 WITH TWO HOSTS AND HAD A RANDOM FORMAT IN WHICH ANY TOPIC IN SPORTS WOULD BE DISCUSSED WITH A COMEDY TONE. IT WAS PUT ON HIATUS AS TIME WAS NEEDED TO DEVELOP THE BSIDE SHOP. WHEN THE BSIDE CHANNEL FINALLY BEGAN TO BE DEVELOPED IT WAS DECIDED TO BRING BACK THE BSIDE SPORTS SHOW. HOPING TO CONTINUE THE COMEDY TONE IT WAS DECIDED TO SEEK A HOST IN THAT FIELD WHO WAS ALSO KNOWLEDGEABLE IN SPORTS. RALPH FIGUEROA HAD BEEN A REGULAR GUEST ON THE BSIDESHOW AND HAD BECOME GOOD FREINDS WITH MEMBERS OF THE TEAM SO A DECISION WAS MADE TO ASK RALPH IF HE WOULD BE INTERESTED IN HOSTING BSIDE SPORTS. 17 MONTHS AFTER ITS HIATUS THE SHOW FINALLY RE PREMIERED ON FEBRUARY 8TH 2015 WITH NEW HOST RALPH FIGUEROA ALONG SIDE ERIC J. AND SHAYE WHITEY, ANOTHER MEMBER OF THE BSIDE SHOW TEAM. THE NEW FORMAT CREATED BY RALPH AND THE HOSTS WOULD BE THAT MULTIPLE SEGMENTS WOULD BE RESEARCHED AND DEVELOPED FOR EACH SHOW BASED ON CURRENT EVENTS AND DATE. ALSO A NEW FEATURE TO THE BSIDE CHANNEL WOULD BE THAT BSIDESPORTS IS THE FIRST TO ALSO BE AVAILABLE AS AN AUDIO PODCAST. BSIDE SPORTS SHOW HAS GOTTEN A GREAT RESPONSE FROM VIEWERS SINCE THE NEW PREMIER AND CONTINUES TO GROW EVERY WEEK.
